Choreolab

First initiated by Chunky Move in 1999, Choreolab is a weeklong intensive choreographic workshop led by invited international choreographers who are at the forefront of contemporary dance making. This initiative offers experienced Australian dancers and choreographers the opportunity to develop their skills and ideas by gaining a practical and first hand insight into the works and practice of established international choreographers. Past guests have included: Wayne Macgregor (UK), John Jaspers (USA), Jerome Bel (FR), Emio Greco + PC (NE), Antje Pfundtner (GER), Erna Omarsdottir (ICELAND) and Damien Jalet (BEL). In 2009 Choreolab will be lead by Xavier Le Roy (FR).
