Tom Wright

Tom Wright studied English and Australian Studies at Melbourne University 1985-1990.

He has worked as an actor and/or director at the Melbourne Theatre Company, Playbox, La Mama, Belvoir Street Theatre (Sydney), Anthill, Gilgul, Mene Mene, Bell Shakespeare Company, Chunky Move, the Adelaide Festival and the Melbourne Festival.

He has written on theatre and architecture for The Melbourne Times and the Herald-Sun.

He has written or co-written a number of plays or adaptations, including
The Trial, Ghost Train, The Operated Jew, Excavation, parts of Natural Life, The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Hideous Portraits, Ubu, This Is a True Story and Medea.
