Carlee’s first role as a dancer was with her local ballet school as a sweet pea in the ballet, Peter Pan at the age of four. Since then she has worked in both film and live performance as a dancer and collaborator with many choreographers, touring nationally and internationally.
This year she will continue working with BalletLab on Origami choreographed by Phillip Adams, perform in Prue Lang’s, Infinite Temporal Series for Chunky Move and work with Meryl Tankard on a feature film, Book of Revelation directed by Ana Kokkinos. Later she will perform at the Castlemaine Festival with Tracie Mitchell’s Under the Weather before developing the piece for film. Carlee will then join Dance Works for a residency at the Sophiensaele in Berlin and return to present the work in Melbourne.
