Bill McDonald - Composer

Bill McDonald has performed and recorded with many artists across a diverse musical landscape. In Rock and Pop music he has recorded with David McComb, Michael Hutchence, Edwyn Collins, Neneh Cherry, Booga Bear and Johnny Dollar (Massive Attack), Archie Roach, Michelle Shocked and many more. In more experimental areas he has collaborated with David Chesworth, Philip Brophy, Ollie Olsen, Curse ov Dialect, David Brown (candlesnuffer) and others.

He has composed/produced music for TV and Film including the Aria Award winning series Choir of Hard Knocks, and released 2 albums under the name Four Hours Sleep. Bill has played bass in Paul Kelly’s band since 2002.
