Louise McCarthy - Costume Design
Louise has designed set and costumes for Melbourne Theatre Company’s productions of A Single Act, Birthrights and Blue/Orange and costumes for Cruel and Tender and The Birthday Party. Previous to that, her designs include costumes for DV8 Physical Theatre’s Can We Afford This and ChamberMade Opera’s The Two Executioners; and set and costume designs for Melbourne Workers Theatre’s Fever, Kickhouse Theatre’s St Rose of Lima and Fun and Games with the Oresteia, Anthill Theatre’s The Chairs and A Strategy for Two Hams, Meryl Tankard Dance Company’s VX18504 and Strange Fruit’s Absolute Pearl.
Louise’s costume design credits for film include Blessed, Road to Nhill, Life, Serenades, The Forest and Harry’s War; and for television, the documentary drama Pozieres and the S.B.S series Kick.
