Alisdair Macindoe

Alisdair is a Melbourne-based dancer and choreographer who trained in dance at the Victorian Collage of the Arts secondary and tertiary schools. 2011 performances include Lucy Guerin Inc’s Human Interest Story (Melbourne, Perth and Sydney), Lucy Guerin Inc's regional Untrained (Victoria), Lucy Guerin Inc's Structure and Sadness (Jacobs Pillow; Massachusetts), Gideon Obarzanek + Chunky Move’s Connected (Melbourne, Sydney, Seoul and Portland), Gideon Obarzanek + Chunky Move’s Assembly (Melbourne and Sydney),Antony Hamilton Projects Drift(Melbourne and Sydney), Antony Hamilton, Byron Perry + Chunky Move's I Like This (San Diego and New York). 2012 sees Alisdair performing and developing work with Lucy Guerin Inc, Antony Hamilton with Chunky Move, and Stephanie Lake.

Other performance highlights include: his own Bromance (2010), 525600LOVE (2009) and Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain (2008), Chunky Move - Damien Jalet and Erna Omarsdottir’s Black Marrow (2009) Lucy Guerin Inc’s Structure and Sadness (2008) and Leigh Warren and Dancers’ Seven (2009).


Alisdair has also performed in other works by Katrina Lazarof, Lina Limosani, Nat Cursio Inc, Jo Lloyd and Gerard Van Dyke, Underpass, Bare Bones Collective, BalletLab (development showing) and Coby Orger.
