Nina Wollny

During her teens in Germany Nina Wollny followed an intense ballet education. In the Netherlands she continued her studies at the Rotterdam Dance Academy, where she changed her focus to modern and contemporary dance. Nina joined anoukvandijk dc after her graduation in 2002 and has since performed in many of the company's works as well as working as rehearsal director for the 2010 production Wowwowwonders in me. Nina joins Chunky Move in October 2012 for the international premier of An Act of Now - Anouk van Dijk's debut production as artistic director. 

Nina Wollny is the primary teacher of Anouk van Dijk's Countertechnique, having taught masterclasses in this method throughout US, UK, Europe and Asia as well as developing a publication for this method. She has also been artistic assistant to Anouk van Dijk since 2007.
