Chunky Move has commissioned a number of new media works that offer an insight into the creation and development behind each new Chunky Move work.

The Chunky Files

The Chunky Files are commissioned, web-based works inspired by and complementary to a Chunky Move work. Each artist commissioned to create a Chunky File is given the creative freedom to respond to Chunky Move’s work as they want, ensuring that the works created are distinct in their own. The Chunky Files was launched in 2002.

Chunky File #3

Tense Dave was first performed by Chunky Move in 2003 as part of the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts. Produced by Carly Hargreaves and Cornel Wilczek, Chunky File #3 presents a non-linear perspective of the work in scopitones and interviews of some of the artists and creators involved.

Past Chunky Files

Chunky File #1 is based on interactive dance installation Closer .

Chunky File #2 extended the concept of poll-driven art explored in the live performance production of Wanted: ballet for a contemporary democracy.
